PART-TIME PARAPROFESSIONAL POSITION AVAILABLE at St. Pius X/St. John the Evangelist School (St. Pius X Campus). Candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of support activities for Kindergarten class, including but not limited to materials preparation, monitoring class/lunch room and playground activities, student/individual group practice. High school education or GED equivalent is required. Knowledge of child development, group process and age-specific learning through some combination of formal preparation and experience preferred. This position may involve stooping, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and some light lifting.

CONTRACT POSITION: Campaign Gift Officer “Lourdes Building Our Future” Campaign
Together with the Director of Advancement and the Campaign Committee, implement the 2012 Campaign plan and secure gifts and pledges to complete the Lourdes Building Our Future campaign. Goal is to raise the additional $1M plus toward the $15M goal during 2012.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cultivates major gift donor prospects through correspondence and personal visits. Writes/edits written proposals for presentation to donors. Confers with appropriate RCS leaders to secure closure of gifts.
- Maintains positive relationships that enhance the image of RCS.
- Develops and participates in a system of prospect identification, moves management and evaluation.
- Works in coordination with the Director of Advancement, Director of Schools and Campaign Chairs Committee. Prepares monthly reports and other information for these colleagues.
- Attends all fundraising events and represents RCS in a positive light to donors, alumni, prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in development with demonstrated strengths in leadership and securing major gifts. Campaign experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish an organized system of prospect identification, moves management and evaluation involving thousands of potential donors. Ability to effectively communicate campaign goals. Ability to travel and work flexible hours. Valid Minnesota driver’s license.
